Leif Elggren THE NEW IMMORTALITY The New Immortality relates to the book with the same name by John William Dunne, London 1939. The New Immortality was also the title of an exhibition at Galleri Arton A in Stockholm, November 1990 by L.E. The New Immortality is also the title of two seven inch vinyl releases by L.E.; the first released on Anckarström/Firework Edition in 1992 and the second released on Firework Edition Records in 1998. The New Immortality was cut with a drypoint needle and a record player. I was shouting loudly over and over again the words: "I´m talking about if I only could talk!" The needle, resting on the wax in my gentle hand has hopefully registered something of the vibrations of my voice. Back
